For those of you who don’t know, I started this blog as a food blog but it has slowly transitioned more to a hybrid to include medicine. Food has been a true passion of mine since day one! When I got into medical school, I was ready to go anywhere but I was blessed to end up in Boston, a place that I wouldn’t have to sacrifice giving up Asian food.
I don’t know about you, but there are some restaurants that you almost feel connected to, as if they’re family. However, many Asian restaurants have had to close down temporarily due to COVID-19 — some even permanently due to the impact it has had on them.
Thus, I’ve teamed up with Feed Your Hospital to help these restaurants out — they gather donations to pay for meals for healthcare workers. So not only are you helping out frontline healthcare workers battling COVID-19, BUT you can also support your favorite restaurants to help them stay in business! Please join me in helping out this amazing cause!

What is Feed Your Hospital?
Feed Your Hospital delivers meals to healthcare workers on the frontline of COVID-19 by supporting local Asian restaurants across the country.
Where does the money go?
Your donations will go directly to Feed Your Hospital, who collaborates with restaurants in New York, Boston, and SoCal to develop special menu options for hospital deliveries, and coordinates deliveries directly with local hospitals. Credit card fees (4%) apply for each donation. Feed Your Hospital is 100% volunteer-run.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Feed Your Hospital is fiscally sponsored by the Ascend Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. For all donations, you will receive an official Ascend Foundation letter via e-mail acknowledging your donation, which can be used for tax purposes.
How can I give a large donation?
For large donations, you can help us save on credit card fees by sending a check to the Ascend Foundation, and noting “Feed Your Hospital - mishxcindy” in the memo line (Address: 160 Broadway 6th Floor E Bldg, New York, NY 10038). If you would like to directly wire the money, donate through your charitable trust, or donate through another means, please e-mail us at feedyourhospital@gmail.com.
